On Tuesday, Aug. 18, at 2 p.m., the League of Champions will host a webinar focused upon Best Practices and Procedures used by different companies to manage COVID-19 in the construction industry.

After five months of managing the pandemic, our members have developed and implemented very successful programs. We have asked three of them to present their experiences and successes with us. We are still learning how best to deal with the pandemic while maintaining the effectiveness of our safety programs.

The League of Champions' members have great expertise and are pleased to share their successful programs. For this session, we will have three of our members discuss their challenges and outline how they managed them.

Craig Sparks of Maple Reinders will present their “Confirmed COVID-19 Case Response,” a program that focuses on implementing a protocol to keep your workers safe.

Michael Mancini of Matheson will present Matheson’s Physical Distancing program, including an online orientation that provides auto-certification.

Erin Oliver of Modern Niagara will present a subcontractor's approach to COVID-19. Erin, who is also the chair of the CPO Prevention Council, will focus on Modern Niagara's approach of early intervention, communication and planning. She will also discuss their culture of caring that helped to fully engage employees in the success of the program.
