RCCAO - Conversations about Construction (Podcast Series)

On July 27, RCCAO launched its fifth podcast in our nine-part series, Conversations About Construction! 

This podcast focuses on how infrastructure can play a role in the post-COVID-19 economic recovery. The podcast can be found here

The podcast features Paul Smetanin, president of the Canadian Centre for Economic Analysis (CANCEA), Peter Smith, executive director of the Heavy Construction Association of Toronto, and Andy Manahan, executive director of the Residential and Civil Construction Alliance of Ontario, discussing the importance of properly investing in infrastructure, especially in the age of COVID-19.

There will be four more podcasts coming over the next few weeks, including:

  • Toronto transit;
  • Benefits of mass timber; 
  • The Big Pipe; and 
  • Sidewalk Labs. 

On July 20, the RCCAO launched the fourth podcast in our nine-part podcast series, Conversations About Construction, which aims at raising awareness about issues affecting the industry.

This podcast features Rob Bradford, executive director of the Toronto and Area Road Builders Association and a director of the RCCAO, in conversation with Kyle Martin, project manager at Fermar Paving.
