We are a community where dentists come together to learn, share and be inspired. As a member, you’re a part of something bigger.  Please join your colleagues from all 16 Oregon components on September 28th at 6:30 p.m. for a virtual town hall with ADA leaders who will share what the ADA is doing for us. Guest panelists will include:

  • ADA President, Dr. Klemmedson
  • ADA Senior Vice President of Government and Public Affairs, Mr. Mike Graham
  • ADA Executive Director, Dr. Kathleen O’Loughlin

It all starts with you. Dentists are leaders in health care as well as in their professional communities, and our members are at the center of everything we do. We help you connect with each other, lead within the profession, and explore opportunities to grow, volunteer, and give back. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to share your concerns and ask questions of your tripartite leaders! Please join us by registering here.

The 2021 ODA House of Delegates will take place virtually on September 25, 2021. Interested in serving as a delegate? Contact your local dental society or register online here. We look forward to "seeing" you there!

The ADA Dental Experience and Research Exchange, the newly launched oral health clinical data warehouse, is now open to any practice of any size that uses practice management software Open Dental 19.3 or higher.  Each participating practice will have access to a customized dashboard which includes reports for specific clinical queries based on the practice’s own data and, when sufficient data is available, benchmarks based on aggregated data from other participating practices. Read more in ADA News.

We’re living through a time of uncertainty, and it’s normal to feel stressed and anxious. We have many challenges that lie ahead, and if you feel the need to reach out to someone, we are here and you are not alone. The ODA's Wellness Program offers a robust network of compassionate Wellness Ambassadors, armed with resources to help support colleagues. The wellness program is open to all members, non-members, and dental students. If you need help or know of someone that needs help, please request support.

Being a great dentist is more than the art and science of dentistry – every day, dentists are interacting with patients and coworkers, balancing multiple demands on their time and adapting to whatever curveballs their day throws at them. In this ADA Accelerator Series webinar, career coach and best-selling author Ashley Stahl will share how your members can adopt a top performer mindset to tackle your workplace challenges and be an effective leader. They’ll come away with a better understanding of emotional intelligence, the habits of top performers, and the skills and mindset shifts they can employ to take their performance up a notch. Register today!
