ODA needs a big, overarching legislative strategy that defines and sets the oral health and dental care delivery narrative in Oregon for years to come. Right now, given the significant delivery and public resource challenges caused by the COVID crisis (i.e., Medicaid and state budget cuts), it has never been more important – or more opportune – for dentists to offer and deliver comprehensive solutions in both practice and policy. We need your help. The Radiation Advisory Committee is looking for a new dentist member. This eight-member committee represents dental, medical, academic broad scope licensees, as well as industrial facilities using radiation sources, hospitals and medical clinics, tanning industry and academic/research institutions from the over 4200 facilities currently regulated by the Radiation Protection Services section. After significant consideration, the ODA Board of Trustees, in consultation with the Speaker of the House, has decided that the 2020 House will meet virtually. This decision was made with the health and safety of all attendees and guests in mind, and leadership believes that moving forward with a virtual offering is the best option to allow for maximum participation with minimum risk. Interested in serving as a delegate?
