House Bill 4143, passed during the 2018 Legislative Session, was targeted at the opioid epidemic in Oregon. As part of that bill, all prescribers active with the United States Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) are required to register with the PDMP. According to the 2018 Second Quarter report, there has been a 52 percent increase in dentist accounts, and a 42percent increase in dentist usage. Thank you to all who have registered!
