Your Action is Needed: Dental Pilot Projects

The Oregon Health Authority has released proposed rules on dental pilot projects that are inconsistent with the authorizing statute that ODA representatives negotiated in good faith. The rules will affect all pilot projects (mid-level provider demonstration projects) here in Oregon. These projects will likely lead the way for future legislation in the state. It is critical that we ensure any test on a new mid-level provider model is done in a way to increase access to care, not simply test out an economic model. As proposed, the rules fall short.  Take action now by contacting OHA on these rules.
