The NYS Department of Health has released an important Q&A document concerning the new maximum contaminant levels for Perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA), Perfluorooctane sulfonate (PFOS), and 1,4 Dioxane.

This Q&A provides an overview of requirements from monitoring, reporting, enforcement, public notification, treatment technologies, O&M, operator certification requirements, and deferrals.

NYRWA hosted a webinar on this topic and recorded it for your reference. You can view the video on the NYRWA website: https://nyruralwater.org/content/videos
