New York State Adopts Drinking Water Standards For 3 Emerging Contaminants

On Thursday, July 30, 2020, the Public Health and Health Planning Council’s Committee on Codes, Regulations and Legislation voted to adopt MCLs of 10 parts per trillion each for PFOA and PFOS, and 1 part per billion for 1,4 – Dioxane.  To learn more regarding this legislation as well as a sampling implementation timeline please follow the link:  https://www.wamc.org/post/nys-adopts-drinking-water-standards-three-emerging-contaminants
