Gary Schirmacher Named CEO of Total Hospitality Industry Solutions

Atlanta, GA, November 3, 2020 – Gary Schirmacher, CMP joins Total Hospitality Industry Solutions as Chief Executive Officer.
Schirmacher has over thirty-four years of experience in the hospitality industry with well-known brands such as Maritz Global Events and Hyatt Hotels and Resorts. His experience stretches across all aspects of hospitality, from sales, marketing and operations to strategic development and enhancing a property’s industry presence.
Schirmacher served as Chairman of the Meetings Industry Council of Colorado from 2002-2007 and was inducted into the Colorado Meetings Hall of Fame in 2011 with the Lifetime Achievement Award. He is a Past Chair of the PCMA Education Foundation Board of Trustees, serving on the PCMA Board of Directors as well as several Destination and Hotel Customer Advisory Boards.
Schirmacher is currently on the Executive Committee for the MPI Global Foundation Board and serves as Chair of the Meetings Industry Fund and the Senior Assistance Center of Metro Denver. As a frequent speaker at major global industry meetings and events he remains well-connected and in tune with the current state of the industry. He is highly involved in the hospitality community as a member of PCMA, MPI, IAEE, ASAE, Association Forum and CSAE.
Schirmacher is a graduate of Arkansas State University and the Worldwide College of Auctioneering. He resides in Boulder County, Colorado and is the proud father of three children. He has a great passion for volunteering to support the hospitality community as well as his local community.
