Overall consumer confidence increased in all nine New York State metropolitan statistical areas (MSA) in the first quarter of 2012. Home buying plans increased in six of the nine New York State MSAs. Click here to learn more.
 
In its U.S. Foreclosure Market Report for the first quarter of 2012, RealtyTrac reported New York had 5,494 total foreclosure filings in the first quarter and 2,151 of them were in the month of March, an increase both from the previous quarter and the previous month. Click here to learn more.
