NRMCA’s M2M Benefit program continues to provide better services and more value to all members; the latest addition is Enviro-Port, an Associate member that offers a variety of aggregate recovery and complete recovery systems, each tailored to specific operational needs by analyzing a company’s recycling goals and potential for expansion or enhancing an existing process. Enviro-Port designs systems for long-term reliability and support by assembling customized equipment on-site. NRMCA members will receive a 1% discount off their recovery systems.

Visit all NRMCA dedicated services through the updated M2M webpage where you can explore their offerings.
Neither membership in NRMCA nor participation in the M2M benefits program can in any way be construed as an endorsement, explicit or implicit, of any company, product or service by the Association. NRMCA accepts no responsibility in any dispute between supplier and customer. The M2M program is intended solely as an informational service. Participating companies are responsible for insuring all M2M benefit information is correct and up-to-date.

CONCRETEPAC is NRMCA's bipartisan, multi-candidate federal Political Action Committee (PAC) with a stated goal of electing pro-business, pro-ready mixed concrete industry candidates to Congress. Candidates who support the ready mixed concrete industry have never been more critical and, with mid-term elections just around the corner, the ready mixed concrete industry must be prepared to support the races that matter most.

Federal law requires trade associations like NRMCA to obtain permission from its member companies before sharing important information regarding CONCRETEPAC. Authorized executives from member companies are permitted to grant this permission so CONCRETEPAC may share information. Having this approval on file allows NRMCA to inform you of upcoming CONCRETEPAC events but in no way obligates you or your employees to contribute.

Click here to grant CONCRETEPAC prior authorization online today so we can keep you updated on the activities and events hosted by CONCRETEPAC, including the Ready to Pour Event and Corn Hole Tournament planned for this fall in conjunction with NRMCA’s ConcreteWorks.

Federal law permits a company to grant prior authorization to only one trade association's federal PAC each calendar year. Federal law permits a company to give its prior authorization to a trade association PAC for up to five years at a time. FEC rules prevent CONCRETEPAC from accepting corporate contributions, money from foreign nationals or NRMCA members without prior authorization. Participation is voluntary.

Government Affairs

NRMCA’s ConcreteWorks 2022 will feature a number of important events for the Government Affairs Committee. First, committee members will meet on Friday, September 30, at 9:45 a.m. to present an update on activities over the past year as well as hear from employment attorney Josh Ulman, who represents the Coalition for a Democratic Workplace on organized labor’s legislative efforts.

Second, an education session titled Awakening from their Slumber: What to Expect from Labor Unions will be hosted jointly by the SEO and Workforce Development Committees on Saturday, October 1. This session will be a timely follow-up to Josh Ulman’s presentation at the Government Affairs Committee. Next, ConcreteWorks will feature a General Session address on Sunday, October 2, from former Sen. Cory Gardner (R-CO). During his time in Washington, Senator Gardner was a great friend to the ready mixed concrete industry and we are pleased to welcome him to ConcreteWorks.

Finally, CONCRETEPAC will host a fundraiser at a local brewery featuring a cornhole tournament, an In-N-Out Burger food truck, and (responsibly supervised) ax throwing. For more information on this fun event, contact Heather Houck. For more information on CONCRETEPAC, contact Andrew Tyrrell.

With mixed forecasts about construction and materials costs for 2023, ready mixed concrete sales teams will be challenged to work within a contractor’s project management system. As a result, the Certified Concrete Sales Professional (CCSP) Module II is a valuable tool to meet that challenge. It will meet December 6 - 8 in the Dallas area, just the right time to get seriously focused on the coming year. The curriculum ties directly to what sales reps should know that impacts a producer’s business, including learning about a contractor’s estimating methods, bidding process, design, supply procurement, project planning and scheduling.
