Government funding expires on December 21 and Congress doesn’t seem to have a plan to keep the government open, with the President opposing any spending bill that does not include $5 billion for the wall.
The NCC E-News is issued by the National Concrete Pavement Technology Center.
Last week, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Department of the Army released its long-awaited proposal for a redefinition of the “Waters of the United States,” or WOTUS, which aims to clarify federal jurisdiction of waterways covered by the Clean Water Act (CWA). This latest proposal stands in stark contrast to the controversial 2015 WOTUS rule issued by the Obama Administration, which drastically expanded federal authority under the CWA.
NRMCA's Ready Mixed Concrete Delivery Professional Driver of the Year Award acknowledges the significant contribution of ready mixed concrete truck drivers to the growth and success of individual companies and the ready mixed concrete industry. As a salute to these key members of the concrete production and delivery team, the award recognizes the driver’s career achievement, safety, professionalism, competence and customer service skills in a manner that will enhance the industry and public image of the career of Ready Mixed Concrete Delivery Professional. The 2019 Ready Mixed Concrete Truck Driver of the Year Award winner will be honored at an awards presentation ceremony at NRMCA’s Annual Convention in Tampa, FL, in March.
Submissions must be e-mailed to Gary Mullings at email@example.com by Friday, December 28. Click here to download the nomination form and for more information.
