NRMCA Attends CSI Boston Chapter Session on Future of Specification Writing

On September 10, NRMCA Senior Director, Building Innovations, Frank Mruk helped facilitate the CSI Boston Chapter's Future of Specification meeting held at the Mass Club in Boston. The in-person and virtual discussion regarding the future of specification writing was moderated by CSI Boston President Gary Brock, senior associate/sustainability leader at HMFH Architects, Inc. Panelists included Dave Lemont, executive chairman at Acelab; David Stutzman, independent specifier at Conspectus and Gary Christensen, client education manager at RIB Speclink. The event drew 35 live attendees and many others who participated via Zoom. Part 2 of this series will be held at the October CSI Boston meeting; Mruk will be on the panel.

Mruk is a director with the CSI Boston Chapter and is currently serving as 2025-2027 president of the CSI Northeast Region.
