Build With Strength Displays Resilient Concrete Systems at Arizona Engineering Convention

NRMCA Senior Director, Building Innovations, Brandon Wray recently exhibited at the Structural Engineers Association of Arizona (SEAOA) Annual Convention, held in Tucson. The theme of the Build With Strength exhibit was the promotion of innovative building systems that leverage concrete materials to accommodate modern needs for resilience and energy efficiency.

Wray was joined by Tremco representatives Peter Eastburn and Michael Merkle (seen here, from left to right, are Merkle, Eastburn and Wray) who represented both block and panelized insulated concrete forms. In tandem with highlighting structural performance, performance -based design and specifications were a major part of the discussion as the structural engineering community is continually working toward efficient applications of material mechanics. Together, these conversations highlighted the ways concrete outperforms most materials when put to the test.
