NRMCA presented to Congressional staff on the ready mixed concrete industry as part of a facility visit hosted by NRMCA Producer member Vulcan Materials and the National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association, discussing the ready mixed concrete industry and the legislative issues that impact it. In addition to hearing from NRMCA and other organizations, Congressional staff toured a quarry, ready mixed concrete plant, hot mix asphalt facility and saw a blast at the quarry.
NRMCA, the National Asphalt Pavement Association, American Cement Association, American Road and Transportation Builders Association, Associated Equipment Distributors and National Mining Association supported the tour. NRMCA thanks Vulcan Materials and NSSGA for leading the tour.
