August Webinar to Take Detailed Look at Changes in Federal CDL Rules

You are invited to attend a webinar on Tuesday, August 10, from 1 - 2 p.m. Eastern time to hear how the rules to earn a CDL will change on February 7, 2022. It could positively affect producers’ mixer driver operations.  The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration's (FMCSA) two primary lead specialists on these CDL rules will take a deep dive into the key provisions of the 2016 ELDT final rule, including who is subject to it and what must done to comply with the rule. They will follow with an in-depth overview of the ELDT Training Provider Registry (TPR).

This new federal information technology (I/T) system allows driving schools, as well as companies that have their own internal CDL schools, to sign up as registered providers. As registered providers, they will be able to submit their students’ proof of training. The webinar will conclude with an overview of various compliance materials already developed to assist in the registration process and your Q&A’s. If your driver pool plays a role in your KPI’s, this webinar could expand your vision.
