Register Now for Pave Ahead Webinar on Pervious Concrete Maintence

There is still time to register for the fourth and final webinar in the Pave Ahead Pavement Education Pervious Concrete webinar series. Maintenance Guidelines for Pervious Concrete will be held Thursday, June 18, at 2 p.m. Eastern time; it will focus on the importance of establishing a maintenance plan for pervious concrete pavement as well as define the various degrees of required maintenance.

“One of the biggest deterrents to specifiers using pervious concrete is the fear of the hidden costs of maintenance,” says NRMCA Senior Vice President, Local Paving, Phil Kresge. “The first thing we tell them is that there are maintenance costs associated with any stormwater management system. And the costs associated with pervious concrete are very manageable.”

Civil and geotechnical engineers, property owners, municipal and public works directors, property managers and maintenance supervisors or any other individuals associated with properties that have pervious concrete as part of the stormwater management system would benefit from attending this program. “I encourage all our members to extend the invitation to these individuals,” adds Kresge.
