Strong Attendance Marks Second Installment of Concrete Pavement Webinar Series

The second installment of NRMCA’s Concrete Pavement Education Series was another huge success with more than 400 attending the Designing Concrete Industrial Pavements webinar, reports Senior Vice President, Local Paving, Jon Hansen. These weekly webinars focus on topics related to design, construction, maintenance and rehabilitation of concrete pavements. The next program in the series, scheduled for Thursday, April 16, at 2 p.m. Eastern time, is one that has fostered many questions in previous webinars and promises to answer all those questions: Soils 101: What to Know for a Successful Paving Project. This webinar, conducted by Pave Ahead team leader Brian Killingsworth with assistance by Luke McHugh, is one of the most requested topics in pavement design and promises to be one of the largest attended webinars to date. These webinars provide American Institute of Architects (AIA) Elective Learning Units and/or Professional Development Hours (PDH) for continuing education requirements. Upcoming webinars through April include Concrete Pavement Jointing and Details on April 23 and Materials and Construction Specification for Concrete Pavement Projects on April 30. All webinars start at 2 p.m. Eastern time and are free to attend.
