The Resilient Building Coalition held a meeting last week hosted by the American Institute for Architects and the Urban Land Institute during which participants heard updates from the various member organizations. NRMCA was represented by Lionel Lemay, Tien Peng and Government Affairs staff which briefed attendees on the updates to the Disaster Savings and Resilient Construction Act. The specifics of the legislation generated significant interest and NRMCA expects to be able to partner with multiple organizations and associations in support of this legislation.
