NRMCA Vice President, Local Paving, Don Clem, PE, recently travelled to Tulsa, OK, to present on concrete intersections at a streets and local roads seminar sponsored by the Oklahoma Ready Mixed Concrete Association (Mike Tinker, executive director) and the American Concrete Pavement Association – Oklahoma/ Arkansas Chapter (Brent Burwell, executive director). The seminar was attended by a mix of consultants, geotechnical engineers, city representatives and industry personnel. Other presenters included Megan Dangel, PE, Central Plains Cement Company; Matt Wilson, BASF and Mr. Burwell. Terracon Engineering hosted the event.
