Strong Member Support of CONCRETEPAC Events Seen at NRMCA's ConcreteWorks

CONCRETEPAC thanks our corporate sponsors of this year’s events held during NRMCA’s ConcreteWorks Conference & Expo and Board of Directors’ Meeting at the J.W. Marriott Indianapolis. During the course of the week, CONCRETEPAC hosted many events, including a door prize drawing of an Apple iPad during the Mixer Driver Championship Dinner on Monday night. The winner of this year’s door prize drawing was Mr. Thomas Sheffield of CEMEX. CONCRETEPAC closed the week with a very successful and thoroughly enjoyable Under the Sea dinner, held at the Indianapolis Zoo in its Oceans Pavilion with live shark touch tank, penguins, seals and sea lions, polar bear and walrus exhibits. Guests were also invited to watch a private dolphin show at the Zoo’s Marsh Pavilion.

CONCRETEPAC events were a huge success thanks to this year’s sponsors, which included NRMCA member companies Anderson Concrete Corporation, Ash Grove Cement Company, CalPortland Company, Central Concrete Supermix, Chaney Enterprises, Concrete Supply Company, Essroc Cement Corporation, The Euclid Chemical Company, Fritz-Pak Corporation, GCC Mid-Continent Concrete Company, Grace Construction Products, Irving Materials, Inc., Lafarge, Lehigh Hanson, Inc., Manatt’s, Inc., MMC Materials, Inc. Oldcastle Materials, Inc., Prairie Material/Votorantim Cement North America, Riviera Brush Company, Stephens Manufacturing Company, Trucks & Parts of Tampa, U.S. Concrete, Inc. and Vulcan Materials Company.

The money raised from hosting these events helps CONCRETEPAC to build a political war chest heading into the mid-term election, but corporate sponsorship allows us to underwrite the cost of hosting events. CONCRETEPAC is the NRMCA’s bipartisan, multi-candidate federal political action committee with the stated goal of electing pro-business, pro-ready mixed concrete candidates to the U.S. Congress.
