Discussion Continues over Using Concrete on Coney Island Boardwalk

There perhaps is no more famous boardwalk than the one that graces Coney Island, so when New York City officials initially proposed replacing the aging and occasionally unsafe wooden planks with concrete, a cascade of feedback quickly ensued. The latest attempt at pleasing all sides - using a hybrid concrete and plastic replacement - will soon come up for a vote.
