As it continues to refocus its priorities, NRMCA's Learning and Development Department has added two full-time staff members to those efforts.

Jill Roth has been named senior director of learning and development after supporting the Association as a consultant on several initiatives. In this newly created position, Ms. Roth will draw on her experience and expertise in instructional design, project leadership and stakeholder collaboration. Her background also includes business communications and marketing strategy. She will lead all NRMCA curriculum development efforts (for both current and future courses); manage the deployment of the new learning management system and its integration with ProTech; pioneer an eLearning product category and provide facilitation support as needed. Finally, Ms. Roth will offer insight and ideas on future marketing plans and digital strategy.

Ms. Roth holds a master's degree in organizational management and a bachelor's degree in interdisciplinary studies. She will work from her home in Chandler, AZ.

Brian Lemay joined NRMCA as a summer intern in June 2024, continued as a part-time NRMCA employee once the internship concluded and has now been named learning and development coordinator. He provides program and communications support to both the learning and development portfolio and the Workforce Development Committee. Mr. Lemay will be instrumental in NRMCA’s ongoing efforts to modernize instructional technologies and he'll become an in-house expert on accreditation and credentialing. He will also serve as the student success manager during the re-launch of the Developing Industry Leaders program.

Mr. Lemay holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Notre Dame and a professional certificate in sustainability from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He is based in Libertyville,  IL.
