CONCRETEPAC Headlines Fundraiser for House Speaker Mike Johnson

Last week in Washington NRMCA’s CONCRETEPAC held a fundraiser for Speaker of the House Mike Johnson. The event raised more than $150,000 and showcased the concrete, cement and related industries support for the Speaker and his team and provided industry attendees an opportunity to visit with the Speaker and discuss the issues facing the industry.

NRMCA was well represented at the event, with a number of individual contributors present, including Carlton and Rachel Golden, Joseph Ferrara, Ric Suzio and Scott Olin. Special thanks to the individuals who supported the event despite being unable to attend, including NRMCA Vice Chairman Nathan McKean, Secretary/Treasurer Hall Chaney,  John Carew of Carew Concrete & Supply Co., Inc., Pete Lyons of Irving Materials, Inc., Troy Maschmeyer and Steve Bishop of Maschmeyer Concrete Co., and Bill Sandbrook. The event was also supported by industry PACs, including Holcim US Employees PAC, CEMEX Employees PAC, CRH Americas PAC and Heidelberg Materials PAC. NRMCA’s industry partners co-hosted the event, including National Stone, Sand & Gravel’s ROCKPAC, Portland Cement Association’s Cement PAC, National Asphalt Pavement Association’s PAC and Associated Equipment Distributor’s PAC.
