Concrete Industry Management Students to Attend NRMCA’s ConcreteWorks

More than two dozen students from the Concrete Industry Management (CIM) program will be on hand in Nashville, TN, at NRMCA’s ConcreteWorks later this month. Students from four of the five programs (in New Jersey, Texas, South Dakota and Middle Tennessee) will be taking part in the education programming, helping judge the National Mixer Driver Championship, visiting with attendees at the CIM booth in the exhibit hall and networking with the leaders of the ready mixed concrete industry. These students will be looking for summer internships or full-time placement after graduation, so it’s a great opportunity for members to meet these future industry leaders in a more casual environment and see if they would be a good fit for their organization.

On Tuesday morning, the MTSU CIM Patrons have invited attendees to an open house to tour the new Concrete Industry Management building at Middle Tennessee State University (Murfreesboro, TN). Bus service will be provided for up to 55 attendees. There is no limit on attendees providing their own transportation. The bus will depart the Gaylord Opryland at 8:30 a.m. and returns to the hotel at noon (with a stop at the airport on the way back). RSVP to sally.victory@mtsu.edu if you would like to participate and please indicate if you will need transportation or will arrive on your own.
