Engineers Learn About Concrete Trails

NRMCA Senior Vice President, Local Paving, Phil Kresge recently joined Ohio Concrete Association (OCA) Central/Southeast Promotion Director Lisa Weaver-Moon in presenting at a lunch and learn program at the Columbus, OH, offices of Toole Design. Representatives from other Toole Design offices, as well as from the City of Columbus, were also present via Zoom.

Kresge’s presentation, Design and Construction of Concrete Trails, highlighted the CP Tech Center’s Guide to Concrete Trails and included a review of several project profiles. Additionally, at the request of Toole Design’s engineering group manager, Kresge discussed designing and specifying pervious concrete for trails. Printed copies of the Guide to Concrete Trails were provided for Toole Design and for Columbus city officials.
