Industry Personnel on the Move

John Malcolm was named vice president and general manager of Cleveland-based NRMCA Producer member Tech Ready Mix in October. He previously was employed at Lafarge in Maryland, BASF Construction Materials, Titan America and, most recently, at Summit Materials in Colorado. Malcolm is a past member of the NRMCA Board of Directors and Executive Committee. Tech Ready Mix has operations throughout Northeast Ohio, primarily the Cleveland and Akron market areas.

Victor McMillan has been named president of NRMCA Producer member B & B Concrete and Concrete Industries in Tupelo, MS. McMillan is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and previously worked as a business analyst for the university. He joined B & B Concrete in 2014 and has progressed through roles of increasing responsibility involving all aspects of business operations. He is a past president of the Board of Directors of the Mississippi Concrete Association and a current NRMCA Board member. B & B Concrete was founded in 1949 as Boozer Transit Mix in Tupelo, MS, and the name changed to B & B Concrete Co., in 1955 after founders Henry Brevard, Jr. and Riley Boozer.

The North Dakota Concrete Council has named Brian Zuroff as its new executive director, effective November 14. Zuroff will lead the marketing, educational and promotional efforts of the North Dakota Ready Mix and Concrete Products Association and the North Dakota Chapter of the American Concrete Pavement Association. He replaces Art Thompson who took a position with the state of North Dakota. Zuroff was previously a civil engineer and project manager for a private consulting firm in Bismarck where he led the engineering design of many projects throughout North Dakota, South Dakota and Montana. He has also been a frequent user of NRMCA’s Design Assistance Program. Working with local leaders and members of the PaveAhead team, Zuroff has incorporated concrete into many aspects of the projects has designed over the years.
