NRMCA Staff, Producer Member Attend ASTM Sustainabiility Committee Meetings

NRMCA and Producer member Lehigh Hanson recently participated in ASTM E60 Sustainability Committee meetings in New Orleans, reports Director, Sustainability Initiatives, Katie Poss. The scope of ASTM E60 includes the acquisition, promotion and dissemination of knowledge, stimulation of research and the development of standards relating to sustainability and sustainable development. The committee includes environmental, social, economic and other issues relating to sustainability. The committee is currently developing various standards, including Criteria for Life Cycle Assessment, General Principles of Resiliency and General Principles Relative to Buildings.
