Pave Ahead Attends Commercial Real Estate Conference

Members of the Pave Ahead team recently attended the NAIOP Commercial Real Estate Development Association’s I.CON West Industrial Conference in Long Beach, CA. NRMCA Executive Vice President Brian Killingsworth was joined by Senior Vice Presidents Jon Hansen and Phil Kresge at the two-day event where Pave Ahead was a Silver Sponsor. I.CON West is one of two premier events hosted by NAIOP and is billed as the nation’s largest gathering of industrial real estate professionals.

Killingsworth and colleagues exhibited with a tabletop display touting the Pave Ahead theme, Warehouses Demand Concrete Pavement, where they promoted the benefits of concrete paving for heavy duty applications and fielded numerous questions regarding concrete mix, pavement design and sustainability. Additionally, they networked with other exhibitors, including several national retailers, developers and consultants, opening the door for NRMCA to serve as an influencer in design and construction.

Formerly known as the National Association for Industrial and Office Parks, NAIOP Commercial Real Estate Development Association is the leading organization for developers, owners and investors of office, industrial, retail and mixed-use real estate – a market segment that is key to Pave Ahead’s tactical paving promotion plan for warehouses and distribution centers. Their second event, I.CON East, will be held June 8 - 9 in Jersey City, NJ. The Pave Ahead and Build With Strength teams will also exhibit at that event.
