Build With Strength, New York to Host Webinar on Tilt-Up Concrete Buildings

Build With Strength, the New York Chapter of the American Institute of Architects and the NY Construction Materials Association will hold a webinar titled A New Generation of Tilt-Up Concrete Buildings on Thursday, March 3, from noon to 1 p.m. Eastern time. This session will present the latest advances in tilt-up concrete technology to provide economical, energy efficient and durable building solutions. 

Learning Objectives include:
• Understand the design and construction concepts of tilt-up concrete;
• Discover how tilt-up is being used for every building type, from traditional warehouses and distribution centers to multi-story offices and multifamily residential buildings;
• Learn how to implement the latest tilt-up concrete finishing techniques; and
• Understand how tilt-up construction provides cost effective, energy efficient and resilient building solutions.

Architects, engineers, contractors, developers, building owners and product manufacturers are invited to attend. The webinar moderator is Doug O’Neill, LEED AP, NRMCA senior director, building innovations. Mitch Bloomquist, executive director, Tilt-up Concrete Association, is the presenter.
