Denver Newspaper Publishes Article on ICF's in Wake of Devastating Wildfire

Thanks to Peter Deem, a former Holcim executive and NRMCA Board member, and a Denver area Realtor®, the January 13 edition of the Denver Post included an advertorial about concrete homes. Following the devastating Marshall fire where over 1,000 homes were lost, the article presented a concrete home as a better way to rebuild given the environmental conditions in Boulder County. Information on ICF's was supplied by NRMCA Senior Director, Building Innovations, Chris Dagosta and his colleague Don Clem, vice president, local paving. The article referenced the Habitat for Humanity of Teller County townhouse project (ICF construction), which was a joint venture between the Colorado Ready Mixed Concrete Association and NRMCA's Build With Strength initiative.
