Last Chance to Order Hard Copies of Guide to Concrete Trails

Last summer, the RMC Research & Education Foundation released the Guide to Concrete Trails, developed by the CP Tech Center and including input from a technical advisory committee comprised of concrete pavement experts and contractors from around the country. In just eight months, thousands of copies of the guide have been distributed, both hard copies and electronic versions, and it has already been successfully used to promote concrete as the material of choice in recreational trails.

Due to its immense popularity, NRMCA Senior Vice President, Local Paving, Jon Hansen is coordinating a second print run. While electronic copies of the guide are available from the Foundation’s Concrete Applications webpage (there are three electronic versions available) for free, some prefer to distribute professionally-printed copies. With a large-volume print run planned, copies may be ordered as part of this effort for $6 each, plus shipping via standard US Postal Service (you will be charged the actual cost of shipping depending on the number of copies ordered).

The deadline for ordering printed copies at the bulk printing cost of $6 each is Thursday, June 18. The order will be submitted to the printer on Friday morning, June 19, with delivery expected by July 1. Due to a lack of storage space, NRMCA is stocking a very small number of printed copies and we do not anticipate reordering again until early fall. To order, contact Jon Hansen at jhansen@nrmca.org or 515-779-0456.
