Please make plans to attend the Financial Performance Improvement (FPI) Group Meeting and the FPI Group Education Tracks at NRMCA’s ConcreteWorks 2019. The group meeting will take place on Saturday, October 5, at 1 p.m. A draft agenda will be distributed in coming weeks and will include exciting updates on developments with the IDS and financial education offerings, as well as a discussion of the future direction and undertakings of the Group. The four education tracks will take place on Sunday and Monday. Because we will be in post-season glory, we will be offering a Fall Classic themed set of breakout sessions:

  • October 6 at 2 p.m./Session 1: Bottom of the 8th - Hear about industry trends from the 2019 Industry Data Survey and where the industry is losing profitability. Presented by Pierre Villere, Allen-Villere Partners
  • October 6 at 3:15 p.m./Session 2: Trip to the Mound - Practical financial management skills based on insights from the 2019 Industry Data Survey. Presented by Alan Sparkman, Tennessee Concrete Association
  • October 7 at 9:45 p.m./Session 3: Owners’ Meeting - A panel of industry executives discuss how they use the insights from the 2019 Industry Data Survey. Moderated by Annette Tyson and Tom Baird IV
  • October 7 at 11 a.m./Session 4: Tomorrow’s Lineup - Get a sneak peek preview NRMCA’s new education course, Think Like an Owner. Presented by Bob Capasso, Concrete Financial Insights

Please make plans to attend these sessions. Encourage your colleagues to attend these sessions and consider sending their executives, CFOs and finance teams to ConcreteWorks to attend and get engaged in the FPI Group.
