Two NRMCA Environmental Driver Training Lessons Now Available

A mixer driver’s use of water at the plant and on the jobsite not only impacts the maintenance of the vehicle but also carries liabilities if not done correctly. To address the challenge in an easy-to-understand format, NRMCA produced two videos for them to view:
- Mixer Truck Washout illustrates a best practice system to remove the daily concrete build-up in mixer trucks that helps truck maintenance, reduces chipping and the amount of costly water from the driver’s perspective.
- In Jobsite Chute Rinse-off, drivers learn the correct way to handle chute rinse-off at a construction site so that the chute is not only clean with minimal water but also abides by environmental regulations.
