Recently, NRMCA’s Amanda Hult and Phil Kresge traveled to Jackson, MS, to present a Parking Lot Boot Camp to NRMCA Producer member MMC Materials and Paramount Construction Group. Hult presented on ACI 330, Concrete Overlays, and NRMCA’s Design Assistance Program (DAP). Kresge focused on targeting key markets as well as providing in-depth training in NRMCA's Concrete Pavement Analyst software.

“We need a network in place here in Mississippi. The projects are happening; we need to provide a solid concrete recommendation and a bid for every one of them," Hult said. "I am always looking for those interested to join my team.”

An NRMCA Parking Lot Boot Camp is a 10-hour program held at the contractor or producer’s site. Parking Lot Boot Camps create a team approach for producers and contractors to pursue parking lot opportunities in their service market, be they new parking lot construction or concrete overlays of asphalt parking lots. The program has become widely successful in helping everyone - producer and contractor - expand their business into paving markets that they normally did not have or only had a small percentage of. They are conducted by the NRMCA Local Paving Team.

If you would like to learn more about bootcamps, contact Amanda Hult or the Local Paving contact for your area.
