NRMCA to Provide Education on Concrete's Role in Sustainable Development

The green building movement continues to gain momentum as developers, government agencies and designers build structures to minimize environmental impact. NRMCA will host training sessions to build industry awareness and enable ready mixed concrete producers to developed their responses to green building market trends. This course will feature a review of LEED v4, which is radically different than previous versions, and will discuss how concrete contributes to this new standard. This is a 4-part series where participation in each is required to obtain a certificate of completion.

11/2/17 - Part 4: Concrete’s Contribution to LEED v4
  
This course is intended for concrete industry professionals, including sales and marketing, technical and operations personnnel. Participants who successfully complete this course will be credited with 6 Professional Development Hours. As part of the Build with Strength campaign, NRMCA promotes sustainable concrete solutions for buildings. This course prepares NRMCA members to compete in the green building marketplace and trends toward product and company transparency in the green building standards and rating systems such as LEED v4.
