NRMCA will once again sponsor numerous education programs at CONEXPO-CON/AGG in Las Vegas, March 7-11. They include:

Innovations in Concrete Structures - Session #T13, Tuesday. March 7, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., Westgate - Ballroom G. Share the success story of Kansas City developer, Jonathan Arnold of the Arnold Development Group, and learn about a new innovative building system for creating sustainable, resilient yet affordable concrete structures.

Opportunities and Threats for Concrete in the Low/Mid-Rise Buildings Market - Session #T33, Tuesday. March 7, from 1 to 2:30 p.m., Westgate - Ballroom E. NRMCA’s Lionel Lemay, Gregg Lewis and Tien Peng will outline the NRMCA program for reversing concrete’s losses in the low/mid-rise building segment. Detailed strategies including communications, direct project promotion and advocacy will be presented. The session will include an interactive discussion on how concrete producers and state affiliates can leverage their promotion activities to help recapture this key market segment for concrete.

Improving Project Success (and Profits) through Integrated Project Delivery - Session #W26, Wednesday, March 8, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Westgate - Pavilion 10. Developer Jonathan Arnold will present Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) where the project owner, architect, engineers, contractors and product manufacturers work together from project inception through end of construction to collaborate on meeting objectives while optimizing cost and construction time. Contrary to the typical design-bid-build project delivery method where project team members often work at cross purposes, IPD strives for continuous involvement of the owner and key designers and builders from project inception through project completion. This session show how business interests are aligned from the beginning by sharing risk and reward on the project.

CONEXPO-CON/AGG takes place in Las Vegas March 7-11 following NRMCA’s Annual Convention March 4-6.
