NRMCA, in supporting the Build with Strength program to promote concrete for buildings, has launched a new education initiative in Architect magazine this month. Architects are encouraged to read the article in the magazine on concrete building systems and then go online to complete a short quiz to receive 1 AIA continuing education credit toward maintaining their professional license. The first of four courses scheduled this year is titled Insulating Concrete Forms for Multifamily Residential Construction. Click here to view the magazine and go to page 46 to read the article. The article is followed by a Build with Strength ad promoting the Concrete Design Center. This year’s editorial calendar for concrete education includes:

• February 2017: Insulating Concrete Forms for Multifamily Residential Construction
• April 2017: Insulating Concrete Forms for Commercial Construction
• August 2017: Life Cycle Analysis of Concrete Buildings
• November 2017: Concrete’s Contribution to LEED v4

Courses will be offered through Hanley Wood University. For more information, contact Lionel Lemay at NRMCA at LLemay@nrmca.org or 847-918-7101.
