Pennsylvania Concrete Professionals Receive NRMCA Promotion Training

Concrete and cement professionals from across Pennsylvania recently attended NRMCA’s "Promotion Training for the Concrete Professional" seminar hosted by the Pennsylvania Aggregates and Concrete Association (PACA). NRMCA Vice President, Local Paving, Phil Kresge and Senior Director, Local Paving, Ken Justice conducted the six-hour training seminars in Monroeville and Harrisburg, PA.
The program addressed understanding the difference between promotion and sales, as well as the role each plays with the other. Primary focus was on developing a promotion plan and message. Additionally, key target markets were identified. Also included was an overview of the NRMCA’s Build With Strength campaign, with discussion on how state and local efforts could coincide with NRMCA’s national program. Thirty-five individuals attended the two events and most commented that the training was just what was needed to provide direction to new personnel as well reinvigorate industry veterans.
