Just How Much Does It Cost to Fill a Pothole?

In the upper Midwest, road crews this time of year have more than their share of potholes to fill. A February 16 article posted on postcrescent.com, a Web site that covers the Appleton and Fox Cities communities of Wisconsin, discusses how highway workers approach the problem. Street superintendent Pat Vanden Heuvel said it takes a two-man crew about three days to repair potholes throughout the city. "As we continue to upgrade streets to concrete we have fewer needs for pothole repair each year," he said. Read more.
