Construction Sector Adds 28,000 Jobs in January

The private sector added 157,000 jobs in January - 28,000 of them in the construction sector - according to Labor Department data released last week. In addition, there was an upward revision in December's numbers from 155,000 jobs to 196,000. However, the unemployment rate ticked up from 7.8% to 7.9%.
