Some Quite Interesting Things About Concrete

What's new Across the Pond, as they say? Well, we're glad you asked. It seems that the British Broadcasting Service (more commonly known by its acronym, the BBC) recently focused on concrete as a topic for its quiz show. One of the concrete nuggets "unearthed" in the column: The oldest ever found is a 12 million-year-old natural deposit found in Israel in the 1960s in which oil shale had combusted naturally near limestone, producing a natural layer of concrete.
