NPMA lobbies on many issues before Congress: taxes, public health, endangered species… the list goes on. But only one issue is led every time by NPMA: pesticide preemption. The industry and our allies rallied around preemption during the 2018 Farm Bill, but due to political circumstances beyond our control it was not included in the final bill.

 

NPMA has not forgotten this key industry issue and spent the early part of last week conducting Hill visits with our 2018 champions to see what paths to passage might be possible over the next few years.
