NPMA Receives Prestigious Award for its Public Service Announcement

Through the efforts of the Professional Pest Management Alliance, PPMA, the public outreach arm of NPMA, the industry has received the prestigious national Bronze Anvil Award, a national award facilitated by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). The organization describes the award as honoring the "'best of the best' in public relations tactics. We are extremely honored and thrilled to share that NPMA’s PSA, "Pests Without Borders," which highlights the important role professional pest control plays in maintaining the better quality of life experienced here in the U.S., was recognized with a Bronze Anvil Award, making it one of the best public relations tactics of the year.

This year’s competition brought in a total of 564 entries. Of those, the Bronze Anvil judges only selected 43 organizations as Bronze Anvil winners. This showcases the high level of expectations the judges held while evaluating each entry as well as the overall prestige associated with winning this award. Runners up in the PSA category included DAV (Disabled America Veterans)’s "Victories for Veterans PSA Campaign," and the National Education Association’s "Tips For A Great School Year" PSA. NPMA is in good company, with fellow winners spanning across big brands including Toyota, Bank of America, Kit Kat®, Allstate Insurance Company, Old Spice, The Home Depot Foundation and more.

Our win reinforces the positivity associated with the work we are all doing in the professional pest control industry to protect public health. The Bronze Anvil Award is something the entire professional pest control community should be extremely proud of and invigorated by, and it should inspire all those who have contributed to the industry to keep up the great work.

Our PSA Program is solely funded through investments and those of other PPMA Guardians and Investors. THANK YOU once again for enabling us to produce high-quality work that competes with big national brands on the national stage.
