CT SB 120 Would Ban Neonics

Connecticut has two bills currently in the legislature that would significantly harm the industry. The first is SB 120 which would ban neonic usage in the state as of October 1, 2022. CTPCA has mobilized in opposition, and has a VoterVoice which has already driven over 70 messages to policymakers. The industry is asking for exemption from this bill to ensure we are able to continue protecting public health. The following representatives are cosponsors: Rep. David Michel, 146th Dist., Rep. John K. Hampton, 16th Dist., Rep. Jennifer Leeper, 132nd Dist., Rep. Mitch Bolinsky, 106th Dist., Rep. Cristin McCarthy Vahey, 133rd Dist., Rep. Christine Palm, 36th Dist., and Rep. Anne M. Hughes, 135th Dist.
