Colorado Bill Would Remove Preemption

Print Print this Article | Send to Colleague

Colorado Senate Bill SB22-131 was introduced on February 10th and would remove preemption in Colorado. CPCA has been incredibly active even before the bill was introduced in trying to educate policymakers and other groups about the terrible impact this would have on the pest management industry and the protection of public health. CPCA has spearheaded a VoterVoice, reaching out to policymakers and is also spearheading a letter of Colorado companies opposing this bill. This bill is scheduled to have a hearing on February 24th, and many pest management companies will be providing testimony. If your company would like to oppose this bill, please contact VP of Public Policy Ashley Amidon at aamidon@pestworld.org.
