Vermont Bill Aims to Transfer Particular Department of Agriculture Authority to the Department of Health

S.272 proposes to transfer the oversight and administration of the Pesticide Advisory Council from the Agency of Agriculture, Food and Markets to the Department of Health. The bill would also amend the membership of the Pesticide Advisory Council. The aim of the bill seeks to reduce the use of pesticides and hopes that the Department of Health will meet this goal.
