ASPCRO Mid-Year Board Meeting in Minneapolis

The Association of Structural Pest Control Regulatory Officials convened there annual mid-year board meeting in Minneapolis, Minnesota last week.  NPMA staff and members attended the board meeting as well as the three committee meetings that were held on site. The Structural Fumigation Committee included agenda topics that included an update on Douglas Products testing of spray foam insulation to better understand its potential impacts on fumigant aeration, U.S. EPA's progress regarding the testing of sulfuryl fluoride clearance devices, as well as an update from NPMA on the ongoing concerns in North Carolina with regard to methyl bromide fumigation and air quality permits.  The ASPCRO Building Code Committee continued its work on developing a white paper on the impacts of spray foam insulation and termite inspections in crawlspaces, and the Public Health Committee worked on identifying resources to help consumers and professionals identify counterfeit and unregistered products. The 2020 ASPCRO Annual Meeting will be held in Minneapolis, this year's meeting will be held August 26-30th 2019 in Franklin, Tennessee.
