PRIA Reauthorization Signed into Law

President Trump has signed S. 483, the “Pesticide Registration Improvement Extension Act of 2018,” (PRIA) into law, bringing to an end a long period of uncertainty over the program's authorization. Originally included in the 2018 Farm Bill, it was unfortunately not included in the final bill, causing a lapse in the program. The House and the Senate have united to reauthorize this important program for its fourth iteration, which will include a new fee schedule.
