EPA’s acting administrator Andrew Wheeler was nominated to replace Scott Pruitt late last year. His confirmation hearing was held before the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee last week, where he was questioned for several hours by both Democrats and Republicans on the committee. It is rumored that the full Senate will vote on his nomination on February 5th, hopefully confirming him. NPMA has signed on to a letter that voices support for Mr. Wheeler’s nomination and is backed by a wide variety of Ag groups.
